HPS-Branch fully supports the UAE Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and has taken the following actions:
On Campus
- Work together to be responsible consumers of resources and to maximize efficiency and minimize the generation of waste, with particular focus on:
- Reducing our use of electricity.
- Reducing our use of paper.
- Ensure that all waste can be recycled.
- Encourage the use of sustainable transport to school for students and staff, including:
- School bus
- Public transport
In the Community
- Encourage student groups to undertake community service in the UAE and beyond, supported by the following departments:
- CAS (Creativity, Activity, Service)
- ERC Foundation
- Outdoor Education
- Consider the carbon footprint of all school-related travel and activities
- Ensure that all curriculum trips and visits conducted respect the environment visited and follow the leave-no-trace-behind principles.
